My September Skincare Favorites!

My September Skincare Favorites!

Lately, it may seem like my instagram has been overrun with skincare posts, but that’s because I’m so into it right now! In the past, I was super self-conscious about the appearance of my skin, and would hide it under a ridiculous amount of makeup. To be clear, I love a full “beat” face, with lots of glitter and glam, but that is separate from when I was wearing makeup to essentially hide what was underneath. I wanted to share with you my favorite products that I’ve been loving lately (in the order of my routine) and how they have been making a visible improvement in my skin! (NOTE: There are some affiliate links included below, but the opinions are my own).

1. Makeup Removal:

Bliss Makeup Melt Jelly Cleanser: $12.00

This product has become a crucial step of my skincare routine. Before I started using the Bliss Makeup Melt, I would use a makeup wipe to take remove my foundation and eye makeup. While I still like makeup wipes when I’m on the go, they don’t remove nearly as much makeup as this product does! It’s a perfect first step to get rid of the first layer of makeup and allow for my cleanser to work harder for me.

2. Cleansers:

Circadia Cleansers (Prices Vary, Not Sold Online - click here to find a retailer near you!)

I was recently introduced to the “double cleansing” technique during a facial I had earlier this year. This method really ensures that all makeup and dirt from the day is removed from my skin! I’ve been loving my Circadia cleansers! First, I use the oil-based Vitamin Veil Cleanser, it smells amazing and removed deep down dirt and makeup! Then, I follow up with the milky and creamy Amandola Cleanser, which leaves my skin feeling super moisturized and fresh!

3. Toner:

Thayers Witch Hazel Toner (Lavender): $11.99

This product ensures that ALL dirt and oil is removed from my face, without being harsh on my skin. Thayers offers other scents, but Lavender is definitely my favorite! I apply with a cotton pad after cleansing.

4. Serum:

Sephora Ultra Glow Serum: $20

Not too long ago, Sephora came out with their skincare line; and, while I did collaborate with them, I was genuinely impressed with the quality of their products, especially their Vitamin C serum! Not only does it smell incredible and make my skin glow, it has an incredible price point! It’s very difficult to find a good Vitamin C serum for a decent price, so the fact that this one is $20 is a huge bonus!

5. Moisturizers:

Daytime: No7 Protect & Perfect Intense Advanced Day Cream SPF 30 $24.99

This moisturizer is super hydrating without making my skin feel greasy/oily. It works perfectly under my makeup and has a very mild scent!

Nighttime: Circadia Nighttime Repair (Prices Vary, Not Sold Online - click here to find a retailer near you!)

This nighttime moisturizer has been a game changer! It addresses almost everything that bothers me about my skin (breakouts, discoloration, dark spots). It’s super lightweight, but powerful!

6. Peels:

Bliss That's Incredi-Peel: Spa-Strength Glycolic Resurfacing Pads to Smooth & Brighten $23.00

I use these pads before bed a couple times a week, and it literally feels like I’m hitting the reset button on my skin, only to wake up to a fresh, bright complexion!

Would you be open to adding any of these products to your skincare routine? Let me know in the comments!
